○ HISTORY OF DEPARTMENT ○
In the June 1969 College was established in remote area of Sahyadri valley in Patan tehsil. After the establishment of science faculty in 1992, on demand of students, Koyana Education Society (KES) our management introduced Microbiology as one of the subject at B.Sc. part I in 1993 and B.Sc. II was start functioning in the year next year with natural growth. In academic year 2022-23 institute introduced Microbiology as principle subject at Third Year BSc Programme. Starting with 23 students as first batch now department create an environment among the students about many applied branches of Microbiology. Our students have well placed in different fields of industries and research.
