About Us

            IQAC stands for Internal Quality Assurance Cell, which is a quality sustenance measure at college. It aims to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of education and overall functioning of the college by monitoring and evaluating various aspects such as teaching, research, infrastructure, student support services, and more.
            The role of this committee is important in the NAAC process. Therefore, as per the guidelines given by NAAC, IQAC was established at Balasaheb Desai College in 2004. Since its establishment in 2004, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) strives to assure quality education in the college. This committee prepares the perspective and academic plan, keeping in mind the criteria given by NAAC.
            Programs are planned in terms of educational, social, cultural, research, and Overall College development, and they are implemented through departments and various committees. The college has done constant progress in NAAC Assessment & Accreditation process in which IQAC has played a pivotal role.
The efforts of IQAC resulted in the following achievements –
