The Department of Zoology provides excellence in teaching, best infrastructure and high productivity and quality in various disciplines of Zoology. We are providing training to our students by assuring their participation in various activities including seminars, workshops, conferences & Science exhibitions etc. for the better understanding, creating interest and motivating the students
The department has well qualified Faculty and supporting staff. Department follows Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and ICT based teaching method. The Department of zoology has two well-equipped laboratories with different types of teaching aids such as models, specimens, charts, permanent slides, microscopes, and various other equipment. The head and the staff of the department also motivates the students for different research project work, curricular and co-curricular activities for their personality development. Overall the department has a good environment & there is scope for the growth of students.
The study tours & field visits are also being organized for the students as a requirement of their studies. I am confident that we have excelled in every initiative that we undertook and we are standing together in facing the challenges of realizing our goal of imparting quality education. I hope that our department will provide positive, productive, skilled and trained manpower to join the work force, well prepared in the areas of Zoology and its relevant fields.
